Sassy Sweet Policies
- Displays must be paid for in full prior to your installation or we have the right to refuse your request. Our displays are for rental purposes only. Your rental fee includes delivery, installation and removal of our Sassy Sweet Signs display.
- Installations usually occur any time after 7:00 p.m. on the night before your event up until 7:30 a.m. on the day of your event unless special arrangements have been made for setup at a different time. Signs are picked up any time after 7:00 p.m. on the night of your event unless you have booked a rental for additional days or made a special request to have them picked up at a later time. Based on scheduling and locations for each night, we do not guarantee that your display will be installed for a full 24 hours.
- In order to ensure the most ideal Sassy Sweet Signs setup, we request that you send us a picture of your lawn/property where you would like your display setup ahead of time. If you don't send us a photo of the general area where you would like setup, we will determine the most ideal location when we arrive.
- We ask that you **do not** have your lawn chemically treated or cut while our displays are installed! This is very important in order to prevent any damage and tedious cleaning to our signs.
- Please water your lawn on the day of the installation (summer only)! Damp/wet lawns make for the smoothest installation! If the ground is very dry or hard, we may use our wooden stands to place the display into instead of staking it into the ground.
- Our displays include a separate sign with contact information for Sassy Sweet Signs. We appreciate that you do not remove or hide this sign.
- If you’d like your signs removed early or if there is any issue with the location or the installation, please contact us at 201-420-9538 so that we can address your issue. Please **DO NOT** remove the signs yourself.
- Please notify the homeowner if you are giving the gift of Sassy Sweet Signs to friends, family or loved ones! For safety reasons, we can not install our displays if the owner of the home/property is unaware that we are coming.
- If you have curious neighbors, please notify them that we will be setting up a display in your yard after dark. This helps us avoid any safety and security issues.
- Since weather can be unpredictable, it is possible that our installation will be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled in the event of severe lightening, thunder, high winds (greater than 25mph), heavy rain, snow or frozen grounds. We will be in touch with you leading up to your installation if we feel severe weather may impact our installation. In the event there is a snow storm that drops more than 6 inches of snow on the ground, we ask that you clear a space (10-12 feet long by 3 feet wide for Mini display and 22-25 feet long by 3 feet wide for Deluxe displays) so that we are able to stake your display into the ground without an issue (providing the ground is not frozen). Please contact us if this will be a problem and we can offer you a refund. In the event that your installation needs to be rescheduled, we will do our best to come up with a time as close to your original install date as possible. If we are unable to come up with a new time for installation, you will be fully refunded.
- We take photos of all of our displays after installation for use on our social media accounts. By booking with us, you agree to the use of these photos on Facebook and Instagram. If you send a photo that you have taken with a child in it, we always ask for permission before sharing it.
- By booking a Sassy Sweet Signs installation you agree to the following: You, the client, will indemnify, hold harmless and release Sassy Sweet Signs LLC from liability from any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury arising out of any acts, omissions, negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Sassy Sweet Signs LLC, it’s member and employees, agents or contractors. You, the client, agree to abide by all rules and policies which state that our signs are not to be moved, touched, played on or around by anyone, especially children and pets, be in direct contact with lawn care equipment (including lawn mowers and weedwhackers) or come in contact with any lawn sprays or sprinklers. In addition, decorations, balloons, tape or other materials are not to be attached to any of our signs. You are responsible for all damage or stolen signs during your rental period which may include, but is not limited to, a loss and/or damage fee of $25 per sign.
